Greetings Cosmonauts! It's been requested quite a few times, and we have seen much feedback on the subject especially at the end of maps. The drive and competition for /f top! Today we're releasing a new update that we know many will enjoy and we hope will bring a little more edge and competition for that coveted /f top. /f top Spawner Value /f top Balances Wilderness spawers /f top Spawner Value Players will notice that /f top is going to go through a bit of a shuffle today, especially if you have just recently placed spawners. Spawner value, as demonstrated previously on Nebula, will now appreciate over 5 days. So what does this mean? When a spawner is first placed the value it adds to your /f top will only be 20% of the actual spawner value. This value will increase until it hits a max at 5 days. If you place a spawner worth $100 at max value: On placing it it would show $20 towards your /f top After approximately 24 hrs it would show $40 towards your /f top After approximately 48 hrs it would show $60 towards your /f top After approximately 72 hrs it would show $80 towards your /f top After approximately 96 hrs it would show $100 towards your /f topThis will: Keep things fair, even and known between all competing factions especially near the end of the map Discourage the mining of spawners during raids near the end of the map Encourage the effective defense of a base during raids near the end of the map Give players a better representation on where they are in the competition.This change will NOT: NOT change the cost to mine spawners even if the spawner value is not yet at 100% NOT change the spawn rate of spawners inside of claimed bases. /f top Balances Starting today your faction bank and personal balances will no longer count towards /f top. /f top is meant to represent a faction's value in playing the game as a whole (Raiding, Defending, and providing globally for your faction), not just one aspect and having your faction bank represented here makes it very easy to skew. Faction Upgrades, /f upgrade, will still count towards /f top as will spawner value of established spawners in your claims. Wilderness Spawners We want to encourage base building for factions and something suggested many times, is discouraging unclaimed grinding vaults. As such spawners in the wild will now have a marked disadvantage and their spawn rate will be dropped by 60%.
