Wow, a real "player style" post from me. I'll give you a back story here, so bear with me. Everyone knows that Jungle is always an active planet, even when it's "quiet" it has a significant core group that are always around. Those factions are well known on Jungle and, for the most part, throughout Cosmic. Carnation is one of those factions. At the start of Jungle planet, while it was still fresh and new, some scrandy decided it would be a good idea to inside Carnation executing /f unclaimall. oHFRick was one of the factions who claimed a large chunk of claims there. @Xell and the Leads/CoLeads discussed it, knowing that Carnation was an active member of the community and typically one of the Power Factions on Jungle we returned the claims to @Bustadrewster and Carnation to save them having to move and regrind out what work they had done. Fast forward to last night.... Most of you guys know that we're enemied to much of Jungle, but that doesn't mean we're immorally opportunistic. One of our cannoners was doing the usual, trolling TheWatch at their new base claims as TheWatch were all offline, when he noticed someone on his near. In a matter of a few minutes TheWatch's alt factions, used to claim their new base, was overclaimable. Our cannoner stepped up and claimed what they could however being that we have two bases we didn't have enough claims. We noticed Busta nearby (who had made one claim) and we shot him a message. Busta hopped in the teamspeak, and, returning the favor from earlier in the map, with his alt faction claimed what he could while we spammed TheWatch through discord, getting @Monsterwynn and @Haarry on to fix their power issue. This morning all claims were returned to TheWatch (and her alt factions). Let's face it, if your enemies just get insided the map gets boring, FAST. Nobody wants to win because some jackass unclaimed, you want to win by overcoming your enemies, by demonstrating you're a powerhouse, not by being sheepish and just taking advantage. So I wanted to take a moment and give a shoutout to Carnation, Bustadrewster, Ninjqa, who all assisted TheWatch. And I wanted to say that this, right here, is the side of Cosmic that I really admire. When enemies recognize that just because you're enemies it doesn't mean you genuinely dislike/hate someone, but rather offer, for your enemies, entertainment, focus, and a nemesis; a reason to play, someone to overcome, legitimately.
