Jungle Planet's Impending Reset Gearing up for the Reset We've changed how the /fund works, updated the Dungeons and implemented base limitations! Base Limitations & Spawner Updates Dungeon Update /fund changes Rep Points Faction Points Core Chunks and Raiding Points Strongholds Carnage Video Montage Competition Rap Battle Competition Base Limitations & Spawner Updates There are a couple major updates coming along with this maps reset. Including base size limitations and spawner updates to accompany said limitations. Base Size Limitations A max base size limitation will be implemented into the rules Max Base Size for all factions will be limited to 15x15 chunks on newly reset planets This will limit the quantity of alts required to AFK spawners and the like within a base ensuring less slots are being used for AFK'ing As well typical buffer defenses will NOT be permitted within the faction's base Players are permitted to create grinder boxes and water protect the exterior of their grinder boxes Players are permitted to create "tp grinder" boxes and water protect the exterior of those tp grinder boxes Players are permitted to implement reverse layers between base floors Players are permitted to implement regenerating reverse layers between base floors Players are NOT permitted to include regens within the base Players are NOT permitted to include watered walls within the base Spawner Updates Along with Base Size implementions, there is a new upcoming feature that will assist with spawner acquisition and placement (so don't panic you can still compete for /f wealth ) that would allow the same qty and / or cash acquisition as is currently in play with room for growth. Until Friday. There will be a post about it! Dungeon Update This reset brings with it an update to Dungeons including how and when players will be able to access and participate in them. These changes will apply to planets as they reset. Timegating Abandoned Spaceship portals will not be accessible until after the planet has reached 1 week. Destroyed Outpost will not be able to be accessed until after the planet has reached 2 weeks. Dungeon Keys Dungeon Keys are being removed from the server store and will be available in game only and will only be available as a consumable item. What this means: To participate in Dungeons players must have in their inventory a Dungeon Key purchased from the Dungeon Master. Base prices for keys are as follows Abandoned Spaceship: $2,500,000 Destroyed Outpost: $5,000,000 Key costs will gradually increase throughout the life of the map. Infernal Stronghold will have a 25% chance of not consuming a key however a key must be in your inventory to attempt to enter. /Fund Changes The fund has been updated and we removed /dungeons from it. But that's not the only thing that's changed! We’ve also updated the Unlock prices of the rewards, the update will be based on Dungeon with some final tweaks incoming! Make sure you have your spawners placed and everyone in your faction! Faction Points Yes, like Nebula, /f top on Jungle Planet will be based on Faction Points. Faction Point allocation will be multiplied as the map ages by 110% each week. This means that KOTH during week 1 will give 400 Points, week 2 will give 440 Points etc. This multiplication WILL also apply to Daily Purchasable Faction Point Limitations. Core Chunks and Raiding for Points The Core Chunk Shown by a yellow hashtag on the /f map this chunk is the first chunk claimed by a faction, is visible to anyone running /f map near a Core Chunk, and should be the most protected chunk in your claims! If another faction raids you and explodes regular TNT within the core chunk they will steal Faction Points from your faction. The Basics: The Core Chunk is the first chunk claimed by your faction To unclaim the Core Chunk you must /f unclaimall The amount of points awarded on breaching the core chunk will depend on the Y level of the breach (The higher the Y the more points) maxing out at 25% To gain points you MUST breach Core Chunk ABOVE Y20. If you breach below Y20 no points will be gained You may not attempt to bypass losing Faction Points by unclaiming. Using alternate factions to hold points is not permitted Unclaiming without immediately starting a reclaim (in the same or another location) could result in the disqualification of your faction from the competition. Claims within three chunks of warzones will not be automatically unclaimed. Claims 4 or more chunks from warzones, regardless of the connecting chunk ownership, will be classified as raid claims and will have a 24 hr limit before they are reverted back to wilderness claims. Raiding for Points As mentioned above factions can raid for points by breaching the Core Chunk of other factions. If regular TNT is exploded within the Core Chunk a percentage of points will be given to the raiding faction. On successful breach both your faction and the faction that was breached will receive a notification in chat. The Basics: You can raid for points by exploding Regular TNT within the Core Chunk The percentage of points lost will be based on the Y level of the TNT that explodes within the Core Chunk To gain points you MUST breach Core Chunk ABOVE Y20. If you breach below Y20 no points will be gained If breached your faction will be placed on an 8 hr Raid Cooldown You may not attempt to bypass being raided by breaching yourself. Attempting to undermine the point system could result in the diqualification of your faction from the competition Strongholds A more traditional take on Outposts, players on the planet will have the opportunity to compete for Specialty Perks, points, and Rewards by dominating and controlling one of the two Strongholds. Commands: /strongholds /help strongholds Inferno Specialty Perks Fly everywhere regardless of rank 25% Chance of not consuming Dungeon Key on entering You must have a key to attempt to enter, however, when this stronghold is controlled there is a 25% chance it will not consume the dungeon key. 10% /enchanter Discount No AH Tax Frozen Specialty Perks Faction Point Multiplier on Application No Coin Flip Tax +10% bonus jackpot tickets /stronghold sell (operates like /sell hand but for strongholds) $2000/Emerald Block $400/Iron Block $500/Gold Block Strongholds are physical locations within the overworld. Rewards including KOTH items will be awarded in the sell room accessible by the controlling faction within the chest. Rewards are awarded alternating between the two Strongholds every 1 hour This means that if rewards are first awarded at Frozen Stronghold they will, in one hour, be awarded at Infernal Stronghold Players must run to a Stronghold to Cap it and mine through the walls to "break" inside. Players can mine through ANY exterior wall of the Stronghold Blocks in the protective walls of the Stronghold have increased durability requiring 15 hits per block to break. Enderpearls do not work within the Stronghold Once inside players can capture the Stronghold by standing on the cap point in the center The more players on a cap point the faster it caps Once a faction controls a Stronghold a contesting faction must first break the cap of the previous faction then re-cap to gain control The faction that controls Stronghold is able to repair the walls with normal blocks (ie: stone, stone brick etc) but not high durability blocks (such as obsidian) If a player from outside a faction capping or contesting a Stronghold enters the cap zone the cap time will freeze and the Stronghold will show as contested. Only faction members of the controlling faction are able to access and use [Sell Room] and Sell Signs Factions are only able to control one Stronghold at a time Buffs from a controlled Stronghold affect only the controlling faction and apply throughout the Planet. Carnage Starting Tomorrow (May 14th) Carnage will commence! So what's Carnage you ask? Carnage takes resets to a whole new level! Players can look forward to free signs around spawn starting first with Golden Apples and ending with complete destruction of the warzone! Golden Apples Enderpearls OP Gear and who knows what else the admins/owners will pull out of their hats Forum Competitions Starting now and closing on the first boot of that Planet's Server on the day of reset players can compete for a Custom Title of their choosing on that Planet! You can find them pinned under General on the forums. This will be a unique Title that is owned by that player only and will never be recreated, it must, however, follow the rules of the server: Video Montage Competition Create a video montage that is 10 minutes or less of your most memorable moments this map! NOTE: Only one entry per IGN Rap Battle Competition Create a recorded rap that is 7 minutes or less about your most memorable moments this map! NOTE: Only one entry per IGN Reset Details This is a whole new map and warzone for you guys! We're amping up space and giving you a bit more breathing room with a 30,000 x 30,000 Overworld and 8,000 x 8,000 Nether. You will also experience: The brand new, freshly re-designed /spawn The new, streamlined GUI based /shop and more... Locked Kits until a united fund (OF INGAME /bal, NOT real world $) is paid after reset All kits locked until a fee is paid to the planet (in game funds of course)! Rank kits, vkits, gkits will be accessible only after the fee has been paid! This will be a HUGE help to stabilize and prevent p2w from hijacking newly reset planet economies.
