Greetings Cosmonauts! Beginning of a new week and we're already rolling some updates Mob Drops CosmicClient 1.8 CosmicClient 1.7 Mob Drops Huge thanks for the community discussion regarding mob drops. Someone hit the nail on the head when they said there was an issue with "remainders" for iron and an update has been deployed. For each "remainder" ingot that would have been drop by an iron golem there is an 11% chance it will drop an extra block instead As well, spawn rates were looked into and some final tweaking has been done. @Vaquxine has assured me that "rates are now technically exactly as they were before, same tick rates, same drops." So a huge thanks to the Development team for looking into it. CosmicClient 1.8 The CC v2 has been updated! CosmicClient v2 will now sport Enhanced FPS, as well as some support for Cosmic Prisons! Enhanced FPS Originally featured on the CC v1 and highly requested for CC v2, Enhanced FPS allows you to select what you want the CosmicClient to limit rather than having it limit automatically and is located under Settings>General>Performance Things to note about Enhanced FPS: You are NOT required to have Smart Performance Enabled for Enhanced FPS to work Enhanced FPS selections (when checked) will override Smart Performance Enhanced FPS allows you to toggle specifically what you wish to limit to improve your FPS Enhanced FPS allows you to set render distance of entities A huge update from the Cosmic Client Developers! Thanks so much for all the hard work. Also, yes we know that there was a communication issue this morning resulting in the CC not showing as a check mark on multiple planets. The fix for this is already queued and you will see it after reboots. CosmicClient 1.7 With the update for the CosmicClient v2 this formalizes the discontinuation of the 1.7 Cosmic Client. Players will notice that those on the CC v1 will no longer appear as on the CosmicClient with a checkmark, fly boost will not work, nor will other server side supported features. As was already previously mentioned: The CC v1 as an Alpha is obviously no longer being maintained and hasn't been for awhile. As such the code is outdated. Players on the CC v1 after it's discontinuation should note the following: Flight boost will no longer work All server side support for the CC v1 will be halted There will be no perks for being on the CC v1 (such as mcmmo Players on the CC v1 will no longer show as on the CC Players who have a stipulation requiring the CC will be required to be on the 1.8 version Players needing the up-to-date version of the Cosmic Client can download it from CosmicClient.com! Here's to a new week, some amazing updates, and a huge amount of work from the team! Thanks to everyone for the feedback!
